PHARMACAL LAUNCHES MAIL ORDER CATALOGUE FOR PEOPLE WITH DIABETES

Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co., Inc. (NASDAQ: HITK) announced today that
it had launched a mail order catalogue of nutritional products
specially formulated for people with diabetes. Among the products
in the catalogue named Diabetic Health are Multivitamin
Formula, Eye Care Formula and Neuropathy Formula based on a number
of well recognized nutritional supplements, such as Chromium,
Vitamin E, Alpha-lipoic Acid, Vanadyl Sulfate, Bilberry Extract,
and Coenzyme Q10. Also included in the catalogue are pharmaceutical
products for people with diabetes marketed by the Health Care
Products Division of Hi-Tech, including the Diabetic TussinTM
line of cough & cold products.

on the launch of the mail order catalogue, David Seltzer, President
